A former Yahoo! executive, New York Times bestselling author, and Harvard Executive Fellow, Tim brings a powerful voice, deep experience, and a unique perspective shaped by decades of operating at the intersection of technology and human connection.
Tim advises Loudbaby clients and leads the company’s internal AI initiatives, connecting the guidance we offer with the way we put AI to work ourselves.
From the early internet to applied AI
Tim was an early member of Mark Cuban’s Broadcast.com team before Yahoo! acquired the company in 1999. At Yahoo!, he became Chief Solutions Officer and later served as leadership coach.
His book, Love Is the Killer App: How to Win Business and Influence Friends, explored how sharing knowledge, relationships, and compassion can help people succeed in business. Human connection, leadership, and collaboration became central themes in his writing and keynote speaking.
His focus has expanded into AI and what it means for the way people work. That combination of technology experience and attention to people is a natural fit for Loudbaby.
ChatGPT became publicly available on November 30, 2022. Through conversations with Tim, the Loudbaby team began using AI tools in early 2023. Then we got to work: experimenting, making things, breaking things, optimizing in pursuit of our first 10,000 hours.

Tim came to Loudbaby as a client and became a friend. Music has been part of that connection from the start.
Like founder Tommy Onyx, Tim’s background includes making music. He and his wife, Jacqueline, performed as the electronic duo Terror Couple and were founding members of the industrial rock band Code 4. He remains an avid synthesizer enthusiast, with a love of modular instruments and vintage gear.
For Tim and Tommy, technology is also something to play, experiment with, and use to make work that moves people.
